WE ARE THE SWIM BROTHERS
I’m Benjamin and my younger brother is Hudson. We were born in New York City and spent our summers learning to swim.
We lived in an apartment building with a pool and my mother had the idea to hire a swim instructor to come to us to make it more convenient for our family.
She organized individual lessons as well as semi-private lessons with our friends and we had the time of our lives. We were doing mobile swim lessons before it was even a thing.
When we moved to Canada, I became a certified swim instructor and national lifeguard. And this is my 5th year as a swim instructor. My brother will become certified too in a couple of years.
We had the idea to take our idyllic swim summers and replicate them for other children to enjoy.
And Swim Brothers was born.

Every lesson is taught by a swim instructor with current certifications through the Lifesaving Society, one of Canada’s leading water safety and swim instruction organizations with nearly a century of experience developing safe and effective swim standards.
Safety Comes First
A swimmer’s safety is our highest priority. Every Swim Brothers instructor holds multiple national certifications including Swim Instructor, National Lifeguard, Lifesaving Instructor, Standard First Aid with CPR-C, and Emergency First Aid Instructor. Water safety education is an important part of our lessons.
Personalized for Every Swimmer
No two swimmers are the same. In group lessons everyone follows the same curriculum. Faster learners may become bored and nervous swimmers may feel rushed. Private lessons adapt to the individual instead. Ideal for beginner or fearful swimmers, adults, and children who benefit from adaptive instruction.
